"Somebody was robbed right where I kneel just last week, in front of a holy building for Christ sake, but nobody talks about it. They want the crime rate to appear low so they can sell the neighborhood to the highest bidder. Everybody is in on it."
“Everybody just wants to forget, and live their happy little imaginary lives!”

The Dark Comedy HOLY SMOKES tells the story a lonely man named Ted. He is grieving the loss off his wife and child, and sets out to memorialize their deaths by taking a stand against the violence in his community. He places memorials around town where crimes occur, to make people more aware of crime in the neighborhood. Unfortunately for him, his message is misunderstood by everyone. Ted soon finds himself wrapped up in a world of trouble, where nothing is what is seems.
